Aathea is a female Efreeti sorceress, formerly of the Kreegan kingdom of Eeofol but taking up allegiance with the asylums of the Pirate Kingdom after the Reckoning destroyed the planet of Enroth and survivors escaped to the planet Axeoth. Although her species originated from Enroth, her life before the Reckoning is unknown.
Whether it's a war with genies, or humans, or even her own kind, the opponent doesn't matter to Aathea. Everyone and everything is fair game in her book. Likewise, Aathea is not above using whatever means it takes to win, because the winner is the one who gets to live.

- Aathea's fate is unknown, as with all other survivors, as 3DO went bankrupt after the release of HoMM IV, with the series being taken over by Ubisoft for HoMM V, which completely dropped the new planet Axeoth in favor of its own world, Ashan.
