Afnor is a friendly, playful reptilian lake monster which inhabited Loch Andloll, in Caledonia (modern Scotland) during the first century BC. He's revered by the native Picts, who consider him a guardian of the lake and claim he helps drive fish into their nets. He also participated in a battle fighting off Roman legionaries by attacking their boat.
