Alveus was an ancient Inhuman in marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
History[]
As a human, Alveus (not yet called Alveus) was a Mayan hunter and gatherer. While hunting, he encountered a ship piloted by the Kree. He attempted to run but he tripped and was abducted by the Kree. He was experimented on and was injected with kree blood resulting in terrigenesis. Some time later, he was banished to the distant planet Maveth. An organization called HYDRA was founded to bring him back to Earth and kept him alive by repeatedly sending people to Maveth which he could kill and inhabit. During his time on Maveth, he wiped out the native species. He was finally brought back to Earth in late 2015.
Powers[]
Alveus was a swarm of very small life forms and could inhabit the bodies of deceased humans. He could strip flesh from bone. He could heal his injuries almost instantaneously and defeat a Kree reaper. He retained the memories and thoughts of people whose bodies he inhabited. He could send a small number of lifeforms that made up his body into other inhumans, where they attached to the pleasure centers of the brain making the inhuman want to serve him.
Weaknesses[]
The beings that made up Alveus could be destroyed, removed or protected against by Andrew Garner.
Notes[]
- He used we instead of I
- He was never actually seen as Manzini or Nathaniel, but it was confirmed in flashbacks that they were both sacrificed to be his host.
