Amalthea (better known as the unicorn) is the main character in the English-language Japanese film The Last Unicorn, based on the book of the same name. She is a unicorn from Ireland who aims to find the rest of her family after hearing that she was the only unicorn left. She also appears in a comic book/graphic novel based on the book as well.
