Apex is a Jaeger built unintentionally by Shao Industries. During battle, it became mutated with Kaiju hybridization.
Biography[]
As result of the Precursors, it had gained independence; after Apex's brethren were all killed in feedback loop although it survived thus went dormant beneath the seafloor. Roughy sometime later during the Uprising War, Apex eventually awoke from being unconscious where it evolved into an independent hybrid that begun to attack humans plus Kaijus while feeding off Rippers. While hunting, Apex saved both Taylor and Hayley Travis from certain demise.
