A Balam is a feline humanoid Wesen species.
Biology[]
Like all Wesen, they spend the majority of their time in human form, but are capable of shifting into their natural form voluntarily or involuntarily: a process known as "woging". When woged, a Balam is a humanoid jaguar-like creature with light bluish fur, sharp teeth, and bright yellow eyes. Although they're covered in fur, they still have human hair on their scalps.
Culture and society[]
They seem to be an aggressive but honorable species, although there are exceptions, as at least one individual was noted as an unpleasant bully. Even so, they will refrain from confronting stronger Wesen, such as Blutbaden.
