Blattella asahinai sapien is a scientific name assigned to a rare abnormal species which can only be found in a few islands off the coasts of Japan and Korea.
Biology[]
Members of this species are large, six-limbed insects with sharp mandibles and pincers, which can kill multiple humans with ease. Their bite also delivers a deadly neurotoxic venom, guaranteeing that even those who survive an initial attack will still die shortly afterwards.
The species is believed to have evolved during the Paleozoic era. They can move inhumanly fast and survive up to 100,000 volts of electricity. Their eyesight is more suited to seeing in the dark. They can also cocoon themselves in a chrysalis for long periods.
Unlike most insects, Blattella asahinai sapien displays extensive parental care and is therefore viciously protective of its eggs. The sapien in their binomial name attests to their advanced intellect. They're smart enough to cut out power cables to render the environment darker and therefore more suited to their own vision capabilities.
