Broomie is a living, sentient flying broom which belongs to the three witches who live in a hut in a dark corner of the Spirit World.
Personality[]
Broomie is a very sensitive individual and appears to enjoy giving rides. He gets depressed if his owners cancel a ride. During flights, he has what the witches have described as a "wild streak" and loves to assume control.
History[]
When the Grand Witch had to cancel her Halloween ride due to feeling a disruption in the supernatural balance (caused by Krudsky stealing the magic of Fairy Princess Willow), Broomie was left devastated. Fortunately, when Shaggy and Scooby-Doo arrived to ask for directions to the Goblin King's castle, the witches decided that the two could be of good help and instructed them to fly with Broomie to Old Oak Grove, from which the fairies would guide them.
During the flight, the goblin guards Glob and Glum spotted Shaggy and Scooby and fired shots from their cannon to take them down. Broomie was damaged in the ensuing crash, but the fairies used their magic to fix him. He later appeared to help Shaggy and Scooby escape from the goblin castle and gave a ride to Shaggy, Scooby and Jack O'Lantern back to the human world to battle Krudsky and save the other members of Mystery, Inc.
