Bunch Beetles, named so for traveling in huge groups, are an extinct species of beetles which lived during the late Cretaceous.
Biology[]
Bunch Beetles are relatively large insects notable for forming huge groups and migrating annually on May 14th. Their multicolored elytra make their migrations spectacularly beautiful, as millions of beetles fill up the sky with what has been described as "a breathtaking rainbow of color".
Adult Bunch Beetles reproduce in the swamps and have a very short lifespan, as they die two weeks after they mate. The young Bunch Beetles play a key role in Pangaean ecology by feeding on the cider poppies, which prevents the plants from spreading out and covering everything in sight.
Sadly, Bunch Beetles were extinct after the dinosaurs destroyed their swamp to build a wax fruit factory.
