Caesar, (born Milo), was a an evolved common chimpanzee and the main protagonist of the Planet of the Apes franchise in both original series (1968 - 1973) and the reboot series (2011 - present). In the original films he was portrayed by the late Roddy McDowall and the CGI reboot films he is voiced and portrayed by Andy Serkis.
He is the father of Blue Eyes and Cornelius, son of Zira and Cornelius I (In the original films), Bright Eyes and Alpha (In the reboot films) and mate of Cornelia as well the leader and king of his ape tribe.
