Castform is an artificial Pokémon species created by the Weather Institute in Hoenn. Its type and appearance change depending on the weather. Under normal conditions, it is a Normal-type, but becomes a Fire-type under harsh sunlight, a Water-type during rain and an Ice-type during hail.
Biology[]
Castform is a globular creature which floats in mid-air, stands about 30 cm in height and weighs approximately 800 grams, or 1.8 lbs. Due to a malleable cellular structure, its appearance changes automatically according to local meteorological conditions, resulting in four different forms: Normal Form (regular weather), Sunny Form (harsh sunlight), Rainy Form (rain), and Snowy Form (hail).
