Felines

Felines are animals classified in the Felidae family of carnivorans, better known as cats. This encompasses both domestic and wild cats, including tigers, panthers, cougars, lynxes, ocelots, etc., as well as the extinct saber-toothed cats.

The feline family originated during the Oligocene period, circa 25 million years ago. They are known for their strictly carnivorous diet.
