Celebi is a mythical psychic/grass-type Pokémon species from the Johto region, most well-known for its natural ability to time-travel. It also acts as the guardian of Ilex Forest.
Biology[]
Celebi is a relatively small Pokémon, standing about 60 cm in height and weighing no more than 5 kg. It is a humanoid being with a proportionally large tear-shaped head, curved antennae, large blue eyes, and small transparent wings. Its arms are longer than its legs and end in three-fingered hands. Its feet don't appear to have toes. It is mostly green in coloration, although the extremely rare shiny variant is pink.
Being a mythical Pokémon, Celebi is considered genderless. It moves around primarily by flight and can use its psychic abilities to travel through time, transport people in time, and detect temporal anomalies. Its presence can have a healing and life-giving effect on the environment, causing vegetation to flourish whenever it goes. It appears to be herbivorous, as it has been seen feeding upon berries.
