Cherrim is a Grass-type Pokémon species whose juvenile stage is known as Cherubi.
Biology[]
Cherrim are small plant-based bipeds whose bodies are usually hidden beneath a pair of large purple petals. In this form (known as the Overcast Form) it's been noted as a timid and docile creature.
In sunny weather, however, Cherrim will blossom to absorb more sunlight and change appearance, revealing a yellow-colored humanoid with light pink petals, small red eyes and an ever-present smile to go with the cheerful and excitable disposition of this form (known as the Sunshine Form).

Cherubi
Cherrim's juvenile stage, Cherubi, is a small armless biped resembling an anthropomorphized cherry, with what appears to be a secondary head attached to its leaves. However, this is actually just a ball that stores nutrients which the Pokémon needs in order to evolve. When a Cherubi absorbs these nutrients, it's ready to become a Cherrim.
Wild populations of Cherubi are known to occur in Sinnoh, whereas wild Cherrim can be found in some places in Unova.
