The Chimera is a ferocious beast which inhabits a supernatural island in the Mediterranean. This island is also inhabited by Sirens and appears only for one day every thousand years.

Although the Sirens use the Chimera to do their bidding, even they admit that the beast, under natural circumstances, is uncontrollable.

Biology

The Chimera is a size-shifter, able to grow to a size rivaling that of Godzilla. Its physical appearance is mostly mammalian, although with some reptilian features such as its arrow-tipped tail and snake-like forked tongue. Its head is leonine, complete with a dark mane, and it has a couple of ram-like horns. It also has fire-breathing abilities.

When the three Sirens merge together, their powers increase to a point where they can have full control over the Chimera. Under these circumstances, they're also capable of merging themselves with the Chimera, with the resulting fusion presenting itself as an even more formidable adversary for Godzilla. However, the King of Monsters was ultimately able to defeat this abomination, which fell off a cliff into the sea, which destroyed it.
