Chucky is a killer doll in the Child's Play movie series.
Biography[]
1980's[]
He is originally a Good Guys toy doll but becomes possessed by Charles Ray's spirit when the killer performs a voodoo ritual that transfers his soul into the doll during a firefight with police forces. This causes the doll to possess homicidal tendencies, indiscriminately killing people who he encounters.
2019[]
In the reboot, he's an AI doll who had his safety protocol shut off, and thus was unable to tell between right and wrong. Unlike the original, this iteration genuinely wanted to be friends with Andy, but became violently attached to him.
