The Common House Brownie is a species of fairy that inhabits human homes.
Behavior and personality[]
Brownies spend most of their time doing housework and take pride in their diligence. As such, they cannot tolerate laziness or being taken advantage of. They expect no payment for their services outside of the occasional food offerings left out by the home owner. If angered in any way, they will transform into a grotesque creature called a "boggart", and their demeanour changes to being malicious and violent. Thankfully, this can be reverted if they are fed honey.
