The Daughters of the Air are transparent, ethereal creatures, described as very beautiful, which fly in the air even though they don't have wings.
Biology[]
Like Mermaids, they lack an eternal soul, but unlike them, they may gain one by means of performing good deeds, such as cleaning the air, refreshing people in hot days and diffusing the perfumes of flowers. A Daughter of the Air who has lived for 300 years performing as much good as she can will be rewarded with an eternal soul at the end of her natural life and ascend to heaven.
