Del Lago is an enormous Plaga-infected salamander that inhabited a lake nearby Valdelobos.
Overview[]
One of Los Iluminados' earliest experiments on Las Plagas, Del Lago initially started out as an ordinary salamander which ultimately became host to a parasite. Upon exposure, the organism inside soon reacted for this particular amphibian had evolved from its original small state into a monstrous beast; substantially increasing in size with sickly brown skin.
While members of the cult were unable to control Del Lago, it was laid into slumber from within the village lake. Until roughly sometime later, when Prophet Osmund Saddler awakened Del Lago to guard the lake where two Ganados fed it a dead police officer. Del Lago soon attacked Leon S. Kennedy, who successfully managed on killing the creature by harpooning it multiple times and therefore bled to death right before it sunk down to the bottom of the lake.
