A Demiguise is an ape-like creature that appears in the Harry Potter lore.
Overview[]
Native to Eastern Asia, the primate has a unique ability to turn invisible in case of an upcoming attack or being harmed. Thanks to its ability, the wizarding schools often use their fur to make invisible cloaks. One notable Demiguise, Douglas was one of the creatures that escaped from Newt Scamander's case to run amok in 1926 New York City.
