— Mention on Ray Fillet's 1993 action figure bio
Dingy Dino is a young Triceratops horridus or Regaliceratops peterhewsi that was domesticated by the Cave-Turtle Leo during the Cretaceous Period. He used the creature as a war mount in a manner similar to Cave-Turtle Raph's Tubular Pterodactyl, Cave-Turtle Don's Trippy Tyrannosaurus, and Cave-Turtle Mike's Silly Stegosaurus. Leo was known to enjoy brontosaurus burgers, and may have used his ceratopsian to help fell the creatures.
His master has given him leather knee and elbow strips and another strip over his eyes, although the reasoning behind this is unknown.
- This creature was included as a mount with the Cave-Turtle Leo action figure in 1993.
- Although very likely to be a Triceratops given it's a common dinosaur trope along with the three other cave turtle mounts, it also closely resembles a Regaliceratops, whether the creators intended for it to or not.
