Diving Birds are an extinct species of flightless, semi-aquatic birds which lived during the latest pleistocenic glaciation.
Biology[]
They walk erect, like penguins, and possess tiny atrophied wings but large webbed feet with three toes. Their necks are long and the beaks are very large compared to their overall size. They appear to be gregarious creatures.

- Although fictional, this species somewhat resembles and is probably inspired by the real prehistoric birds known as hesperornithes, which lived in the late Cretaceous and were already long extinct in the Pleistocene.
