Donkey Kong is currently the third Kong from Donkey Kong Island to bear this name, being the son of Donkey Kong Jr. and grandson of the original Donkey Kong; nowadays known as Cranky Kong.
He is known for his love of bananas and for wearing a red tie with its initials DK. He has a sidekick named Diddy Kong and lives in a treehouse on an island battling enemies such as the invading Kremlings.
