Captain Douglas Jay Falcon is the main character and mascot of the F-Zero series. Since 2004, Captain Falcon has only appeared in the Super Smash Bros. series
Appearance[]
He is very muscular human male who is just over 6 feet tall and wears blue racing uniform. He wears a yellow scarf, boots and gloves. He has white shoulder pads and his boots and gloves have white parts. He wears a red helmet with a yellow falcon on it. His helmet features a black visor that blocks out his pupils and irises. In the F-Zero anime series, he was shown to have blue eyes and reddish-brown hair.
Personality[]
Captain Falcon is a bit of a hot shot. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Captain Falcon killed dozens of Pikmin in one the Subspace Emissary cutscenes
Powers[]
Captain Falcon's powers were first fully shown in the first game in the Super Smash Bros. series. He has appeared in every game in the series and is one of the most powerful playable characters. He was also the fastest playable character in the first two games. Captain Falcon has become famous for his trademark "Falcon Punch" in which he punches with a flaming fist.

- Captain Falcon's moveset in the Super Smash Bros. series was almost completely original because he had only previously appeared in racing games.
- Captain Falcon's trademark Falcon Punch is so notorious, it has spawned several internet memes and was even used in the F-Zero anime.
- Captain Falcon, along with Ike and Solid Snake is one of the few characters to speak in the Subspace Emissary cutscenes in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the only character to speak in more than one. He says "Falcon Punch" in his introductory cutscene and "Come On" in the cutscene following the Meta Ridley boss battle.
- In the Super Smash Bros. series Captain Falcon and Ganondorf are clones (meaning they have very similar move sets)
