The Dragons are a species of prehistoric flying reptiles which can hibernate en masse for long periods. When they wake up, they form huge swarms and devour everything in their path.
Biology[]
They're Wyvern-type dragons with large membranous wings and begin their lives in the interior of the Earth's crust, from which they emerge through volcanoes inside cocoons of petrified magma. At the moment they leave their cocoons, the dragons are still vulnerable to bullets, but just a few seconds later their skin develops into a protective bulletproof scale covering. They're impossible to track by heat-seeking missiles and invisible to radars.
