Eelektross is an Electric-type Pokémon species from the Unova region. Its juvenile stage is known as Tynamo, and its intermediary stage is known as Eelektrik. Exposure to a Thunder Stone is required to allow Eelektrik to evolve into Eelektross.

Biology[]

Members of this species are lamprey-like creatures, which are commonly found in caves. They have the ability to levitate above the ground, which gives them immunity to ground-type attacks. Since ground is the only type to which electric Pokémon are vulnerable, this means that members of this species are the only Pokémon that don't have any type weaknesses.

Tynamo[]

Tynamo

Members of this species start life as Tynamo, a very small creature with pale skin and glossy black eyes. They tend to move around in schools. While a single Tynamo doesn't generate much electricity, chains of them can be as strong as lightning bolts.

Eelektrik[]

Eelektrik

The second stage, Eelektrik, increases in size impressively. It is six times longer than Tynamo, and weighs a hundred times more. Eelektrik is a predator, and coils its body around its prey to deliver a paralyzing discharge. It is a voracious creature, known for its big appetite.

Its appearance is reminiscent of a blue-colored lamprey with red lips and a red caudal fin. Its eyes are human-like, with white sclerae, and have yellow marks around them. Its underside is beige, as are its dorsal and ventral fins.

Eelektross[]

The final stage, Eelektross, is almost twice as large as Eelektrik, and weighs almost four times as much. It now has a couple of arms equipped with three claws, as well as a couple of pelvic fins that look like feet. Its eyes now have red sclerae. Pokédex entries claim that they use their arms to crawl out of the ocean and hunt prey on the shores, but drag the prey back to the ocean to devour it. They use the fangs on their sucker-mouths to deliver electric shocks.
