The El Khatib, aka Shadow Walkers, are the transformation of a human which generally appear once in every seven years; for three nights, during a full moon and serve as loyal, obedient henchmen to Mirage.
Biology[]
The El Khatib are mammalian beings, reminiscent of wingless gargoyles. They've obtained sharp claws in which they can use to open portals in and out from between the Shadow Realm thus enabling to teleport over great distances. They also have a thin, long tail and skin varies with a different shade of mostly green.
For testimony to their power, not even Genie's own magic barely has any effect on them. El Knatib have also gained immortality, although if they do not returned to the Shadow Realm before sunrise, they will be destroyed. However, should one not be worthy of being El Knatib and as a result of doing good, that individual will slowly but surely became fully human again.
History[]
Roughly for quite sometime ago, Mirage captured children; mainly thieves that stoled from others thus contain evil within their hearts and sended them into the Shadow Realm whereas over the years, they transformed into El Khatib. Mirage used them to gather more for her to make into El Khatib like Aladdin's friend, Amal and Wahid.
Aladdin and his friends fellowed Amal to where encounterd Mirage. While in spite of his decision, Wahid soon regretted becoming an El Khatib but would parish upon sunrise. Luckily, Aladdin was able to trick Mirage into changing Wahid back to normal. Outraged, Mirage commended the El Khatib after them where Aladdin was grabbed by Amal who she ordered to kill him. However, Amal soon realized that what he'd been doing was wrong for he never wanted to hurt his friend and therefore refused. Following that, daylight came and all El Khatib were destroyed expect Amal whose arm had reverted to normal for it was because since he didn't harm Aladdin, Amal wasn't worthy of being an El Khatib and ultimately lost his evilish way of nature. It is unknown if there are still other El Khatib apart from the ones who were mostly destroyed upon sunrise.
