Emily Hayes is the main protagonist of Amulet. She inherits on being a stonekeeper from her great-grandfather. Due to loosing control of her stone, she had temporarily been transforms into a phoenix firebird.
Biography[]
Two years after her father was killed in a tragic car accident, Emily along with her younger brother Navin and their mother Karen moved from living in the city and came to Norlen and stay at an old house originally home to Karen's grandfather Silas Chamon who was a puzzle master that had mysteriously vanished. She then discovered an amulet hidden her great-grandpa's library and kept it secret from her own mother.
Later that night, while asleep Emily is warned by a bizarre voice speaking to her from the inside stone to watch out for her family as there would be danger nearby, just when Karen soon gets captured by a terrifying Arachnopod while she was in the basement investigating a noise. Determined on rescuing her mother Emily and Navin head through this strange door that took them to Alledia.
