Enenra are a species of yōkai; supernatural creatures from Japan. They take the form of a mostly shapeless, only vaguely humanoid figure made out of smoke. Spawned from bonfires, they're actually harmless creatures and it's said that they can only be seen by those who are pure of heart.
This species was first recorded in Toriyama Sekien's Konjaku Hyakki Shūi, circa 1781.
