Aerodactyl is a Rock/Flying-type fossil Pokémon species. This Pokémon was restored from a piece of fossilized amber. It's said that Aerodactyl ruled the skies in its ancient world.
When exposed to Aerodactylite, it will temporarily transform into Mega Aerodactyl. Some said that is Aerodactyl's true appearance.
