Rankor is a demonic spirit and one of the thirteen most powerful ghosts in the world, who spent decades imprisoned inside the Chest of Demons until being unwittingly released by Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers.
Biology[]
Rankor is a vampire-like entity and has demonstrated several abilities, such as possessing people, objects and vehicles; as well as turning into a bat or a storm cloud.
Like Morbidia, he is extremely vulnerable to sunlight, to the point that he will rather allow himself to be recaptured than face destruction from the sun.
History[]
After being released, Rankor sought both to destroy the Chest of Demons and to be accepted into the prestigious Spook and Poltergeists Society. At some point, he came in possession of the mystical gem known as the Eye of Eternity, which causes those who hold it to gradually turn to stone; and used it in an attempt to destroy Vincent Van Ghoul.
