The Fire Monster is a giant insectoid mutation of unknown origin, named for its pyrokinetic abilities.

The Fire Monster is a strange-looking insectoid creature, originally discovered in the Gulf of Mexico, where it attacked an oil platform. It absorbs oil with its legs and uses it as fuel to produce fire from the orifices on its back. Although relatively small by kaiju standards, it can enclose itself in a body of flames to appear much larger.
