The Fish Folk are a sapient species of oceanic creatures which inhabit the depths of the Marinara Trench.
Biology[]
They are green-skinned water-breathing bipeds with no tail. Their hands have four digits, including an opposable thumb, while their feet are webbed and tridactyl. Some individuals have barbels.
Culture and society[]
Fish Folk distrust all air-breathers, including dolphins. They're particularly resentful of the fact that surface dwellers have been dumping garbage and toxic waste in their environment for generations. They use seahorses and manta rays as mounts.
Appearances[]
- DuckTales, s01e38, "Aqua Ducks" (1987)
Notes[]
- The Fish Folk were loosely based on the Water People from Carl Barks' "The Secret of Atlantis" (1954).
