I am Fixit. Things come to me broken. I make repairs.
— Fixit, "The Sum of His Parts"

Fixit is a cyborg recluse who lives under Tito's Junkyard in Jump City, USA. He is surrounded by a community of robots - presumably assembled by him using junkyard material - and possesses telekinetic and telepathic control over technology.

History[]

When Cyborg's power cell goes off during a fight with the Amazing Mumbo, Fixit salvages him from the junkyard and takes him to his underground lair to be repaired. Cyborg is thankful to him, but Fixit informs him that his analysis has shown several "flaws" with Cyborg's body, which he would like to fix in order to improve him. It turns out Fixit believes Cyborg's biological components to be imperfect, and wishes to replace them, thus making Cyborg a completely mechanical being while preserving his old memories in a new brain. Cyborg resists this, but Fixit claims his reluctance comes from his imperfect biological components, and that after transformation he will become better. However, while attempting to transfer Cyborg's memories to a robotic brain, Fixit is overwhelmed by them and reminded of his own humanity, long forgotten. After that realization, Cyborg offers to help him rediscover his human side.

Personality[]

At first, Fixit doesn't understand Cyborg's reluctance to stay underground and his desire to leave. Fixit claims his lair has everything one needs, as it has an adequate power supply and "replacement parts are easy to find". After being exposed to Cyborg's memories, he's moved by them, remembering how beautiful the world can be when seen through human eyes.
