Flareon is a Fire-type Pokémon species and the result of an Eevee being exposed to a Fire Stone to trigger its evolution into this specific form (as other types of stones or conditions will generate different results).

Biology[]

As noted above, Flareon's juvenile stage is Eevee: a Pokémon known for its highly-adaptable genetic structure, which can evolve into many different forms depending on environmental factors. Like all Eevee-derived Pokémon, Flareon has a gender ratio of seven males to just one female.

This canine-like quadruped resembles a long-eared fox and is mostly red in coloration, although its voluminous mane and tail are cream-colored. Like all fire-types, it can breathe out flames, and its internal temperature is absurdly elevated, topping at 1,650 °F (~ 900 °C). The fire it produces is even hotter: about 3,000 °F (~ 1,650 °C). An internal flame chamber has been identified as the source of its fire-making abilities. When its body heat gets excessive, it can fluff out its mane to cool down.

Flareon's diet is omnivorous, and it habitually uses its fire breath to cook both prey and berries before consumption.

Eevee has its own Z-Crystal which is called Eevium Z.

Some Eevee are capable of temporarily assuming a Gigantamax form when they Dynamax. They cannot evolve.
