The Flobberworm is a magical worm species found in Great Britain, living in damp ditches and feeding on lettuce and other plants.

A brown-colored, toothless, completely harmless herbivore, the Flobberworm spends most of its active time feeding, and moves very little. This species is useful for the wizard community due to its mucus, which can be used as an ingredient for numerous potions. Both ends of its body are indistinguishable, and both produce mucus. Taking care of a Flobberworm is not a difficult task, although one may be cautious not to overfeed them, as they may die if overfed.

Besides its mucus, the Flobberworm may also produce something called "Flobberworm sweat", although since only mammals are capable of sweating, this is likely a misnomer. Their meat is also used to make Flobberworm fritters.

Flobberworms are noted to be the only living creatures that can be summoned by the "Accio" charm.

The British Ministry of Magic classifies the Flobberworm as an X species, which means "boring".
