The G'llillas are a species of intelligent gorillas that inhabit Earth a million years after the disappearance of humanity.
History[]
The G'llillas' written history goes back at least 26,000 years, living in the continent of Africa. The G'llillas coexisted with two other primates species: the G'thong-smith and Pfenmll.
Their relationship with each race was different, with the G'thong-smith making several attempted to subversively control the G'llillas though failing or warring with them over philosophical differences. The two races eventually established a tense but moderate relationship. However with the Pfenmll, the G'llillas only faced continuous unrelenting aggression, facing numerous quick raids on their settlements.
G'llilla society eventually became sufficiently developed so that they had a standing army. After that the raids were less frequent, but the Pfenmll came in larger numbers. About 12,000 years ago there was a terrible invasion and more of their land was laid waste, but recovered in time.
When the Pfenmll launched a massive invasion upon the G'llillas, devastating their civilization and land, the G'llillas tried to gain the help of G'thong-smith. The G'thong-smith had built a great wall across Fonmlith and were safe from the Pfenmll attacks. They declined to provide aid, wishing to have little to do with the G'llillas. The G'thong-smith though upon the inception of the G'llillas exodus from Fonmlith to North America, they offered the G'llillas a chance to migrate to their lands but were turned down.
Culture[]
The G'llillas government is scientifically structured. They leaders are headed by 28 individuals, elected from a group of 144, who are selected every six years by competitive examination.
