George is an albino western lowland gorilla who is befriended and trained by Davis Okoye, a primatologist who is a former US Army Special Forces member and part of an anti-poaching team, working at the San Diego Wildlife Sanctuary. George was rescued from poachers who killed his mother and communicates with sign language.
