This Giant Antlion figures among the several daikaiju-sized creatures discovered living in a lost valley within a mountainous chain in tropical Africa.
As it turns out, the sunlight passing through the hazy clouds that cover the valley is responsible for triggering a chemical mutation in the life forms that venture into it, resulting in their gigantic growth.
Biology[]
Like a regular antlion, it digs up pits in the sand and acts as an ambush predator, waiting patiently at the bottom of its trap and attacking any prey which has been unfortunate enough to fall into it.
