Giant Bats are large chiropterans that appeared in a Primal episode, Terror under the Blood Moon.
Overview[]
They are described as huge bats about the size of Fang (a Tyrannosaurus), red in fur color, blank green eyes, exposed teeth, large ears, and a body similar to a human.
The bats were served as the giant spider's pawns who would bring their deceased prey for the spider so it can eat its preys, not before sticking them in its web to suffocate them to death or rot.
The less evolved primitive men have showed their fears towards the large bats hence the fact that they are timid very easily.
After the spider's death, it remains uncertain what happened to the bats following their fight with the dromaeosaurs in the grass fields.

- Besides their appearances resembling to real life prehistoric bats Necromantis, there has been no evidence of bats about the size of a tyrannosaur in fossil records.
