Giant Golden Eagles are a rare species of large raptor bird. Only one female individual named Marahute, her deceased mate and eaglets have been known to reside in Australia.
Overview[]
They appear to be huge raptors covered with mostly white feathers; including bright yellow-colored wings, four-toed feet equipped with black talons and a sharp beak. While they seem like quite gentle giants when calm, although due to their massive size, they could be a problem if anybody is too close should whenever they be feeling confused.
Appearances[]
- The Rescuers Down Under (1990)
Notes[]
- The eagle shown in the film appears to be much bigger than its real counterpart, as the film shows its size similar to an extinct Argentavis. In reality, a giant golden eagle is a medium sized bird.
