The Giant Spider is a formidable creature that dwells within sector 7-B of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant.
Overview[]
The spider has been described as a tarantula-like resemblance with a greyish-black purple furred body. It has fangs located on inside its chelicerae and mouth. It also possesses eight eyes and eight legs; plus a pair of short forelimbs.
History[]
When Homer attempted to seek out of the plant, he followed a riddled map through sector 7B where the spider was all that stood in his way. It hisses at him. According the map: in order to overcome its curse, one must simply "quote a bible verse". Nevertheless, Homer knocked the spider out with a rock instead. It is unknown what became of the spider afterward.
