Glob is a goblin patrol guard who works for the Goblin King along with his partner Glum.

History[]

Glob and Glum first showed up in the monsters' bar after all the patrons fled in terror because Shaggy asked about the Goblin King. They tried to arrest Shaggy and Scooby on the grounds that no one can say the King's name, but in the process got into an argument with each other over the fact that they themselves just said it. This gave Shaggy and Scooby a chance to escape and elude their would-be captors.

After meeting the three witches, the detectives took a ride on Broomie to Old Oak Grove, but were spotted by Glob and Glum, who successfully shot the flying broom down with their cannon.

After this, the goblins were seen once again barring people from entering the castle to participate in the goblins' festivities. Using a potion that the Grand Witch had given to them in order to appear like women, Shaggy and Scooby fooled the goblin guards into letting them in, but had to dance with them. During the dance, Scooby's wig fell off and the two were locked into the dungeons. The furious Goblin King opened up a portal to the human world and told his minions to fly freely and take over the skies on that Halloween night while he himself went on to negotiate with the evil Krudsky, who held Fairy Princess Willow hostage and exchanged her for the Goblin King's magical scepter.

With the scepter on his hands, Krudsky was turned into the next Goblin King and was hailed by the goblins, including Glob and Glum. After Krudsky was defeated by Shaggy and Scooby, the Goblin King regained power and forcefully sent the goblins back to the Spirit World, ignoring Glob and Glum's pleas to stay and continue to cause mischief.
