The God Warriors, a.k.a. Giant Warriors are artificially-cultivated daikaiju-sized bio-mechanical humanoids which were created as living weapons and ended up being responsible for the Seven Days of Fire, which marked the fall of the industrial civilization and plunged the Earth into ecological chaos.
The God Warriors themselves also perished during that period, although, over a thousand years later, there have been subsequent failed attempts to regrow one.
