Gorgo is an amphibious monster that appears in the 1961 British monster film of the same name.
Overview[]
Gorgo bears similarities to his mother, having dark green skin with a lighter belly, small fins located on the sides of his head (which are apparently ears), and four claws on his digits. He seems to be the same size as London's Big Ben, even though he is still an infant. He lives in a volcano near the coast of Ireland along with Ogra.
Notes[]
- This creature is one of the few kaijus that originate from Europe and not Japan, along with Reptilicus. Coincidentally, both of them debuted in 1961.
- There was an actual dinosaur that was named "Gorgosaurus", a theropod who was a distant relative to the Tyrannosaurus rex.
