Green Man is the nickname given to a large mammalian species of sloth-like beast which mutated from humans centuries ago by the Y'Lyntians. Roughly one female individual and her two cubs live around Northampton, Massachusetts.
Biology[]
They're basically described as large mammalian humanoids that somewhat resemble a cross between a bear and sloth with greenish-brown fur which covers their entire body and have blue-colored eyes. These creatures also possess three long spiny claws on all four limbs.
One female specimen of this species is encountered by Donatello, Michelangelo and Casey Jones shortly after tricking Dr. Abigail Finn who had been hunting for the monster. She seemed to like Mikey's pistachios which could suggest that they all prefer a more herbivorous diet.
History[]
Like both Avians and Merpeople, these creatures perviously started as humans enslaved by the Y'Lyntians who later transformed into monsters in order to maintain their decadent lifestyle thus forced them into manual labor. When Y'Lyntias was destroyed allowing the slaves to escape. While at least one female made took shelter and inhabitants within Northampton, a location found in Massachusetts where she mothered two cubs.
