Gulpo is one of the seven dwarves who, centuries ago, befriended the young princess Snow White and vowed to protect her and her descendants for eternity. Currently, he and his brothers act as guardians, friends and occasional advisers to a young girl also named Snow White in honor of her ancestor.
Gulpo is by far the most laid-back and gluttonous dwarf, and is rarely seen doing anything productive. He can often be found in the kitchen, watching Snow's father Marco baking sweets, and usually eating the ingredients, much to Marco's disapproval. He and Cuddlio are best friends. He also plays the drums.
The seven dwarves are immortal beings and capable of turning themselves invisible at will. When they're not hanging out with Snow, they spend most of their time underground in their mining operations, as is typical of the species. Although they mean well, their individual eccentricities and occasional difficulty to adapt to life in the 21st century has often caused trouble for the White family.
