Guy Mann in his human form.
"Guy Mann" is the name assumed by a lizard-like humanoid creature who was bitten by a lunatic human and found himself periodically transformed into a human being himself. Like Rob Roberts before him, Mann tried to integrate himself in human society with limited success. Unlike Roberts, though, he never became a threat to those around him.
Biology
In his natural form, Guy Mann belongs to a species of bipedal, tail-less and human-sized lizard-like beings with scaly skin and red eyes. His species is naturally insectivorous, and might also be nocturnal, as he's seen active at night in his natural form. Most notably, he's able to squirt jets of blood from his eyes as a defense mechanism, similar to that of the Texas horned lizard. He also goes through hibernation periods of about ten thousand years. Despite appearances, it's possible that his species is not actually reptilian in nature, as Mann considered the word "reptile" offensive when Mulder used it.
Appearances
- The X-Files, s10e03 - "Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster" (2016)
Notes
- Mann's case is a rare example of a "reverse therianthropy", that is: a non-human creature going through periodical transformations into a fully human being.
