The Hopparoo is a domesticable species of large, green-skinned kangaroo-like creatures which existed during the Stone Age. Anatomically, they possess features of both reptiles and mammals: the long ears and a marsupial pouch on the abdomen suggest a mammalian affinity, whereas the snout and dorsal plates might indicate otherwise.
Like a kangaroo, they move around by hopping and are capable of supporting their own weight with their tail in order to deliver a powerful kick with both legs.

- According to the Bedrock Pet Shoppe owner, the Hopparoo comes from "down under". When asked about where that is, he admits that he doesn't know.
