Jack O'Lantern, better known simply as Jack, is a living animated jack o'lantern pumpkin and an inhabitant of the Spirit World who is always being pursued by a Headless Horseman who wants to have Jack as his head. When his candle goes off, he reverts to being an inanimate jack o'lantern, but will regain life as soon as a new candle is lit.
In spite of his bizarre nature, Jack is a friendly and fun-loving soul, and was pivotal in helping Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers in their quest to defeat Krudsky.
